Valentine's Day can often seem overwhelming when stores overflow with teddybears and red roses. Instead of shying away from this feel-good day, celebrate in simple style with these cute ideas. In the lead up to Valentine's Day, spoil your sweetheart and indulge in a week of fun together.
The My Valentine Heart Note Cards are the perfect way to say I love you every day. Each day of the week leading up to the 14th February, surprise your partner with something sweet. You can use the cards as ways of telling them what you'll be doing each day.
Here are some ideas:
Day One: If they work, or before they leave the house, slip a few chocolates or their favourite snack into their bag or jacket pocket. They'll love discovering these later on...
Day Two: Go to the movies together, their choice. Write this on a Heart Note Card and give it to them to open when they're at work.
Day Three: Write them a sweet note on a Note Card telling them how special they are to you. Tell them to open it at a specific time, for example, at 4:00pm when they'll be thinking of coming home!
Day Four: Write on a Note Card their favourite cocktail in big bold letters, give it to them to open later on. Then when they come home, surprise them by making their favourite cocktail (and yours!) and sit down to relax together.
Day Five: Write down 'Whatever we like...' on a Note Card. Then, together, choose to do something that you both will love. Go for a walk, to the beach, bowling, bike riding...it's up to you!
Day Six: Surprise them with breakfast in bed.
Day Seven: Cook their favourite meal and set up a romantic dinner for two at home. Relaxed, simple and delicious.
Valentine's Day: Now they can spoil you!

Using paper, material or magazines, cut out a collage of small pieces of paper in similar colours like pink, purple, red and orange. Then, using these small pieces of paper, glue them together on your page to create a heart. Beautifully simple.
