JOIN US IN BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS TO EDUCATION AND HELPING CREATE A WORLD WHERE EVERY GIRL CAN LEARN AND LEAD.

WE MUST WORK, WE MUST
NOT WAIT
At this moment, nearly 130 million girls are out of school. Even more are in school but not learning. Approximately 20 million more secondary school-aged girls could be out of school after the COVID-19 crisis has passed. We believe that education is a human right and stand with Malala Fund as they continue to work until they see every child in school. Every child deserves a quality education and an opportunity to fulfil their dreams. Are you with us?

dreamer, changemaker, malala
Growing up in Pakistan, Malala Yousafzai loved going to school. When the Taliban banned education for girls in her hometown, Malala spoke out for her right to learn. After surviving an attack on her life on her way home from school at age 15, Malala’s voice only grew louder, and she was determined to continue her fight for equality until every girl could go to school. In 2014, Malala became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. Today she continues her incredible work through Malala Fund, an organisation that champions 12 years of free, safe, quality education for all girls.
embrace your opportunity,

“I now get to study and I am striving towards achieving my dream”
– FALMATA, NIGERIA
education makes dreams
a reality
Meet Falmata from Nigeria. She wants nothing more than to study so she can become a journalist. When Boko Haram invaded her town in northern Nigeria, her family fled and Falmata had to drop out of school. They returned two years later, but Falmata’s family could not afford to pay her school fees. Malala Fund made it possible for Falmata to sew and sell caps so she could earn money to pay for her school tuition. “I feel very happy and fulfilled to be back to school. I now get to study and I am striving towards achieving my dream,” Falmata says.
